By using this site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. SoCal Whales is provided as-is, free of charge, for informational purposes only. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the site at any time without notice.

All sighting data on this site is sourced from third-party whale watching operators and is provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee that it is accurate, complete, or current — ocean conditions change quickly and operator reports may be delayed or incomplete.

Always verify conditions directly with the operator before booking a trip. SoCal Whales is a convenient reference, not a substitute for up-to-date information from the people running the boats.

SoCal Whales currently has no advertising provider and does not display paid advertisements. If advertising is introduced, we will update this page and the Privacy Policy before it goes live.

We currently earn no commission from booking links. Any future paid links will be identified clearly near the link and disclosed on the Disclosure page before publication. Commercial relationships do not determine which operators or trips we feature.

Original site text, design, and code are copyright SoCal Whales. Sighting data is sourced from individual operators and remains the property of those operators. You may share links to this site freely, but you may not scrape, copy, or republish site content for commercial purposes without written permission.

SoCal Whales is an informational site. We are not a tour operator, booking agent, or travel adviser. We are not liable for the quality of any trip, operator behaviour, sea or weather conditions, cancellations, or any loss arising from use of the information on this site. Your booking is a contract between you and the operator — not with us.

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the site after a change is posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Check this page periodically if you want to stay up to date — the "Last updated" date at the top will change whenever we make a material revision.
